SHORT- TERM RESIDENCE PERMIT BASED ON PROPERTY

Persons who own immovable properties in Turkey apply for a short-term residence permit.

Residence permit by  real estate is maximum of 2 years.

Foreigner could renew residence permit by real estate as long as who is own the property. Real-estate should be a residential unit.

In case that children between 18- 25 years old prove that they are single and student, they can have a share in the same property with parents and have a right to apply for “Property Residence Permit”.

Holding a property residence permit give landlords to apply for citizenship in general terms after 5 years of living in Turkey as long as other conditions are met to acquire Turkish citizenship.

 Applicants have a right to Apply “Property Residence Permit” for 2 years. However, it is in discretion of authority to grant 1 or 2 years.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
  • Residence Permit Application Form
  • Passport Copy
  • Four (4) biometric pictures and one jpeg version (50×60 mm and white background)
  • Valid health insurance (Insurance period must cover the intended residence permit duration)
  • “Numbering” document obtained from Municipality shows where your property is located
  • Payment receipt by tax office
  • Notarized copy of title deed certificate
  • Photocopy of Passport Visa Pages
  • Photocopy of Entry and Departure Pages of the Passport
IF APPLICANTS ARE MARRIED ; EACH APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE A SHARE IN THE PROPERTY AND SUBMIT FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS
  • Notarized copy of title deed certificate  (One Apartment is sufficient for pair as long as the Apartment is registered on both of their name.)
  • Notary Certified Translation of Appostilled* Marriage Certificate
  • Residence Permit Application Form
  • Copies of the passports (A valid passport for a minimum period of six months.)
  • Four (4) biometric pictures and one jpeg version (50×60 mm and white background)
  • Valid health insurance for each applicants (Insurance period must cover the intended residence permit duration)
  • “Numbering” document obtained from Municipality shows where your property is located
  • Payment Receipt by tax Office
  • Photocopy of Passports Visa Pages
  • Photocopy of Entry and Departure Pages of the Passports

  • If the document is obtained from signatory country of the Lahey Convention, it must be apostilled at issuing country.
  • If the document is obtained from non-signatory country of the Lahey Convention, It must be must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then Turkish Embassy of the issuing Country.
  • If the document obtained from Turkish authorities, it must be signed and sealed.
IF APPLICANTS HAVE CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS OLD ; REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
  • Notarized copy of title deed certificate (One Apartment is sufficient for couples and children as long as the Apartment is registered on all applicants by shares.)
  • Notary Certified Translations of Appostilled* Birth Certificates
  • Residence Permit Application Form
  • Copies of the passports (A valid passport for a minimum period of six months.)
  • Four (4) biometric pictures and one jpeg version (50×60 mm and white background)
  • Valid Health insurance in Turkish territory for each member of the family (Insurance period must cover the duration of requested residence permit period)
  • “Numbering” document obtained from Municipality shows where property of parents is located. This document should be issued on children’s name.
  • Payment Receipt by tax office.
  • Photocopy of Passports Visa Pages
  • Photocopy of Entry and Departure Pages of the Passports

SPEICAL CONDITIONS AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
  • Birth certficates of children and Notary Certified Translations

(If mother and father cannot be determined from passports or passport substitute.)

  • Approved parental consent declaration and Notary  Certified Translations
    (In case of absence of either mother or father )
  • Death certificate and Notary Certified Translations
    (In case of death, other spouse must submit death certificate.)
  • Approved guardianship document for the child
    (In case of divorce.)
  • Studency and single certificate to prove children is dependent on parents
    (In case children is between 18 to 25 years old and has a share in the property)
